I am happy to respond to communications on the topic of Self realization. My email address is listed below. The teachings on this website belong to Vedanta and not to me personally. Vedanta is not a religion, belief system, philosophy or a school of thought; it is revealed truth and is to be realized. Or not. So there is never an argument.

Any bias that the reader picks up is consistent with the underlying premise: that reality is non-dual. These ideas can discussed in a reasonable way. As you will see if you read the site, I have strong views on one topic: Neo-Advaita. I personally feel that while it may be useful as an introduction to the IDEA of non-duality, it is seriously deficient as a means of enlightenment owing to its complete lack of methodology.

Since the publication of my new book, How to Attain Enlightenment, which is in its second printing, although it has been out less than a year, the volume of emails has increased considerably. I now devote two to three hours a day to them. Before you write, I would ask that you read How to Attain Enlightenment and as many of the satsangs as possible. The satsangs (see the satsang link on navigation bar on the home home page and the New Satsang link at the bottom of the home page) are actually an excellent Vedanta FAQ. If after reading these sources, you cannot resolve your doubt, please write. Take your time formulating your question. It is sometimes helpful to get biographical information, although it is not necessary. By writing you agree to have the satsang posted on the website anonymously.

The publications on this site are free for personal use and distribution to friends. Inquiries from publishers are welcome. I am available to give semnars and satsangs. I do not ask for payment for public appearances, only for incurred expenses.

As I have an independent income, this is a non-profit site dedicated to the dissemination of non-dual teachings. To make a donation for the maintanence of this site or help poverty stricken India women and children in my neighborhood in Tiruvannamalai, you can contact Lida at lidavangeest@gmail.com

Finally, in the spiritual world I am also known as 'Ram,' one of the many sanskrit names of the Self. It means 'the one who revels in the hearts of all beings.' Hence many of the questions in the satsang section are addressed to me in that form.
