In India nothing is as it seems. True, everything is what it is but at the same time it participates in an unseen reality; everywhere you turn you are reminded of the big picture, the vast limitless spiritual world that pervades every atom of the visible. This is both a problem and what makes India so attractive. It is a problem because a visitor will never mine the depths of the world's number one spiritual superpower unless he or she is given the code to her apparently obscure, oftentimes bizaare and seeming irrational symbolism.
