Shanti: Dear Ramji, I am very glad your health is okay again.
The more I listen to your teachings the more I love you. Thank you so much again and again for being who you are, teaching how you do and providing us with so many good “goods” through your website, that even those who don’t have money can get honey.
Last February, after Tiruvannamalai, I spent some days in Allahabad, then I went to Rishikesh. There I attended a couple of teachings with Swami Dayananda Saraswati, and yes, it is the same teaching as yours, it is Vedanta, but… it was boring, and I became drowsy! How to say it…? Yours are much more intense, pleasant and entertaining.
Your teachings are really great, indeed the very best teachings I ever met… and I had been searching during almost 40 years. I am hooked. All the other “teachings” seem to me to be insipid, imprecise, approximate and incomplete in the best of the cases, and in the worst cases, bluntly misleading. I even surprised myself by striking out sentences in some books and correcting them according to what you teach. I never did that before.
You are right, once we have understood the value of Vedanta, we become “elitists.” But it’s great. From now on I will no more lose time sifting the other teachings through the Vedanta sieve but focus on sifting my own thoughts, beliefs and opinions through the Vedanta sieve with the help of your teachings!
~ With gratitude, love and joy, Shanti
Ram: Hi, Shanti. Appreciation is always appreciated. I had good teachers and I love Vedanta completely. It is clear that you totally understand its value. Your concluding sentence says it all. It is beautiful, the essence of Vedanta:
“From now on I will no more lose time sifting the other teachings through the Vedanta sieve but focus on sifting my own thoughts, beliefs and opinions through the Vedanta sieve with the help of your teachings!”
~ Much love to you, Ramji
