Gregori: Hi my name is Gregori. I am Russian. I have been interested in Advaita teaching for almost three years now. I tried many techniques, like mantra meditation, kriya yoga for several years, and a few years ago I had a vision of a teacher. At the time I didn’t know who he was. I went to India, visited a lot of gurus and saints, and searched again and again. Sorry if I am talking too much because I know that you are not interested in my life. ☺ I am telling you this because when I saw you at YouTube I knew instantly that you are the teacher that appeared in the vision years ago. It sounds crazy, but it is true. I had many epiphanies and samadhi experiences, but when I started listening to your speech I instantly realized who I really am. I realized that everything is in me but is not me, just like you said. It was a very powerful knowledge because it created such strong shakti that I didn’t sleep for over two days. Now I am reading How to Attain Enlightenment and assimilating and integrating every word. I really want to come to Germany if there is still a place for me. Thank you from bottom of my heart for sharing the truth with us.
~ Much love, Gregori
PS: I hope you will understand because my English is not so good. Thank you.
James: Hi, Gregori, not to worry about the English, I fixed it up. It is a good story, so I will post it at the website, after I change your name, etc. I am so happy that Vedanta found you! My appearance in your epiphany is indeed interesting; a woman once told me that I appeared in Europe and healed her when I was in the United States! It is all Isvara. It knows what has happened, is happening and will happen. The vision was a set-up. Actually, I do like people’s life stories if they keep them short and sweet – which you did. Your story just goes to show that only knowledge, not experience, sets you free because you already and always free. You obviously realized who you are because you confidently state the teaching that is the essence of enlightenment: “I realized that everything is in me but is not me.” Please come to the German seminar, Gregori. There is a place for you and you are most welcome.
~ Love, James
