Not Simply Accumulating It, but Actualising It Each Moment of “My” Life
Tony: Hey, Daniel, my good friend, I remember a couple of months back you said to me having 100% confidence in the knowledge “I am awareness” is liberation. I have reached this very point.
Daniel: Yes, having 100% confidence (conviction) and full understanding of the implication behind this statement is liberation. Enlightenment is the hard and fast knowledge that “I am awareness,” assuming that it renders your binding fears and desires non-binding and cancels your sense of doership.
Tony: Of what use is doubting one is awareness? It’s only this very doubt that keeps ignorance going. I was unclear about what really constitutes ignorance. I see it’s just that, not knowing who you are. I see Vedanta doesn’t try to make you believe anything, it only makes you stand doubt-free in the knowledge of your own nature, awareness.
It doesn’t work if you doubt. It only works when you fearlessly take a stand as awareness. I was moving around in ignorance trying to solve ignorance. This doesn’t work, doesn’t amount to anything.
It’s quite new to me, having all doubts removed. Nowhere to turn except to take a stand in awareness as awareness. It’s very weird and safe at the same time.
Why doubt when Vedanta says I don’t lack? The times when I feel I lack is now simply seen as just ignorance of my already whole nature, awareness.
And only through knowledge will my quest end. Not simply accumulating it, but living it each moment of “my” life. I take a high standard/viewpoint and live up to it.
~ The best to you, You
Daniel: “Not simply accumulating it, but actualising it each moment of ‘my’ life,” love it, Tony!
