Inquirer: As of late, I’m extremely confident. I understand the essence of Vedanta, no doubt. I had my ignorance removed, but still had tons of adharmic vasanas. But this too seems to have subsided. I feel light.
What a journey, it almost brings tears to me eyes. This transformation really took a long time. It is like you become a butterfly but still have to learn how to fly.
This teaching methodology is not mystical at all. It is just your ol’ ordinary awareness. Funny that that which is self-evident is such a mystery for jivas.
I no longer claim the teachings for myself, and also know that Vedanta is not some ancient super-duper teaching, cooked up by men with long beards. It is simply a method to remove ignorance.
And how do we know ignorance is gone? Simple. An ignorant jiva doesn’t take himself to be the self, while a wise person does. It’s totally understandable.
No use in claiming this for the ego. Ain’t nothing worse than enlightenment sickness.
I always felt rushed writing to you. Now I can totally relax because I know you are simply a normal guy who realised it for himself and likes teaching Vedanta.
I’ve become humble. ☺ I’m not going to lecture anyone about the truth and force it down their throats, which I never did anyway.
I’m gonna keep a cool head, perhaps teach. It’s something I became somewhat interested in, to serve, you know.
So this is my spiritual update!
Daniel: Nice update! ☺
Enjoy the ride and take it easy.
~ Much love, Daniel
