Easy View from the Self
Rheinhart: Dear Ram, since we came back from Tiruvannamalai to Germany a lot of questions are coming up. Life has changed in a fundamental way. I can’t go to my satsang teacher anymore, a Neo-Advaita guru. Neo-Advaita is like you describe it in your book or on audio: it is all mixed up. Sometimes they address the person, the doer, and sometimes they speak to the self. They are very confused. I don’t like it anymore. It is easier and more truthful to look at everything from the self’s perspective. This is a major change in my orientation and it is giving me a new life.
My self-knowledge is sometimes a little shaky and I would like to ask some questions concerning the way to proceed. I long to be in touch with you and the teachings. I already heard most of the Gita teachings from Trout Lake.
Is it possible to meet you during your stay in Germany, maybe in Frankfurt? And I want to come to Amsterdam in April.
~ Warmly, Rheinhart
Ram: Yes, of course, Rheinhart. Write anytime and come to see me in Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
