The Formula Is Simple
Jay: Hi, Daniel.
I am considering karma and how things occur, and what Isvara will allow as such.
As we start in inquiry, we being the process of shedding ignorance, consequently our true nature begins to emerge like the sun burning off the morning mist.
If I have this right, this then starts to affect the gunas, which tends the mind to become more sattvic and balanced. Accordingly this in turn will affect our action, even though we have no right to the fruits of action.
Therefore as we gradually start to purify the mind, we automatically also start to carry out right action, hence the fruits of our action will be more favourable, since all result of action has to maintain balance and benefit the whole.
So when we hear the cry God willing, it is all due to us. Hence if we pursue life with right action and a good mind Isvara is more likely to tip things in our favour. Thus everything becomes self-fulfilling.
Daniel: Your understanding is crystal-clear, perfectly summed! Good for you, Jay.
There ain't no purifier like the fire of self-knowledge. Self-knowledge = appropriate action, and appropriate action = appropriate results. The formula is simple.
May Isvara continue to shine such beautiful sattva on your jiva.
~ Much love, Daniel
Jay: Daniel, many thanks.
