Place “God” in the Object Pile
J: When we refer to Isvara, we can equally say God.
J: When referring to consciousness/awareness, I have noticed this is sometimes referred to as God.
Daniel: It can. But best keep it clean and simple by discriminating consciousness/awareness as the “knower” of God. Place “God” in the object pile, something that is known to awareness. You, awareness, are free of God (creation).
J: This is why I like to either say Brahman or Isvara. I know where I stand.
Daniel: Good. But now it’s time to take a stand in awareness as awareness and see your freedom from Isvara (creation). Granted, taking a stand in awareness as awareness does require a qualified mind. You already have the material on this topic.
J: God is in awareness, but awareness is not in God.
Daniel: Correct. “God is me, but I am not God.”
J: I am a little confused.
Daniel: No need to fee confused, you got it, J.
J: Many thanks, Daniel.
