What Liberation Is and How to Attain It
Liberation is simply the appreciation of and identification with accurate thinking.
Accurate thinking means that my thoughts are in harmony with reality, that they support the vision of non-duality.
This is not a magical experience or mystical idea. It's a rewiring job that requires patience, discipline and clear values.
A burning desire for liberation (mumukshutva) needs to trump all other desires.
Accurate thinking is revealed and established by obsessively applying the teachings of Vedanta non-stop. I mean non-f*cking-stop to all situations no matter what or how insecure the mind feels.
It's this obsessive application that eventually crumbles limited notions/bondage (ignorance) and sets the mind free. Repetition is key.
Reality is defined as “that which does not change.”
Reality is not something “out there.”
Reality is who/what I am.
Liberation is when this knowledge is unshakable no matter how shaky the apparent reality gets.
The firm presence and appreciation of self-knowledge is enlightenment. Appreciation means I am able to take a firm stand in awareness as awareness and fearlessly live from the platform of wholeness, regardless of the jiva’s situation.
