Nothing Else Mattered
Dave: Swamiji, I see you have recovered and wish you the best of health, O noble and blessed soul, wherever the journey takes you… I had always been told to meditate on this being but in reality who was seeking who? It always devolved into a Chuang Tzu butterfly dilemma: Had I fallen asleep and forgotten who I was or had I forgotten who I was and fallen asleep, thrust into the perpetual primal ocean of endless images? Was I nothing or everything, was it irrelevant or highly significant, bathed in the eternal light show of becoming, going up or coming down? Indeed where was up or down, coming or going… the revolving shutters framed my window of delight and eye was… that was real, and the after-trails of bliss when I knew myself for that first and last time, nothing else mattered…

For years I have happily and diligently responded to communications on the topic of Self realization. Since the publication of my book, “How to Attain Enlightenment”— currently in its third printing —and the success of this website, the volume of emails has increased considerably. Unfortunately, owing to a busy schedule of teaching and writing, I am no longer able to answer all the emails I receive in a timely fashion. However, my wife, who is also a teacher, and several well-qualified teachers we have endorsed are available to answer emails on my behalf. I encourage you to send them your questions.
