Thank you for the latest Satsang on Turiya (the fourth). I’ve noticed that Shining World writes about this subject a few times a year, it seems Ishvara is compelled to remind ‘newbies’ that Turiya is not a ‘state’ ie. an experience that can only be accessed by meditating!
This belief is just propaganda, perpetuated by the ‘Vedic mantra meditation cults’ that continue to thrive in the spiritual marketplace.  It suits their agenda, which is to make money off gullible seekers. These same meditation cults sell the ‘States of Consciousness’ theory, where your mantra is tweaked/upgraded for hundreds of dollars to enable you to transcend and work your way through various states, ie. cosmic consciousness, God Consciousness, Unity Consciousness and finally the pinnacle of Krishna Consciousness, where I guess one’s skin starts to turn blueÂ
It’s multi-level marketing of enlightenment, and unfortunately we have all fallen prey to Maya’s tricks at some point. So thank you for continuing to clear up the confusion of genuine seekers and the ‘disinformation’ of fake guru’s out there.
