Is Existence Love?

Kumari: Namaste, Priya Ramji.

Would you have time to check if the following statements convey an accurate understanding?

Is it true to say that “my” existence, my most fundamental experience, i.e. me, is exactly the same existence as that of all “other” things and beings? In the same way that the space contained within each pot is one and the same space? That non-duality HAS to be the nature of existence, that no other option could be possible, because where could you get another existence from? Any possible origin of “other” existences would have to exist themselves at some level, so the origin of everything always comes down to the irreducibility of existence. There is no way we can find any limitation to existence, because nothingness would have to be existent itself to be able to limit existence. “No thing” also IS, which actually means that the nature of reality precludes the possibility of any real nothingness?

And my ultimate knowledge of this is not merely intellectual, because it all boils down to the irrefutable fact that I exist and I know I exist. The logic helps me look into my own experience truly as it is as the silly ideas fall away, and see that actually where can I find an end or a beginning to my is-ness? Now I feel some doubts creeping in, but it is time for breakfast. Maybe I will write to you about them another time. I really just wanted to check out the above with you.

It is so beautiful. Is it in the way that existence has been described above as unconditional that it is love? Ever pure and shining, and feels so beautiful; what else could it be but love?

Ramji: Hi, Kumari, got it in one! I had my red pencil out but couldn’t find one mistake. It is such a good statement of the logic of the teaching that I will put it on the website. And yes, existence is love (anandam) and chit (consciousness). I exist you. I consciousness you and I love you. ☺
