Pat on the Back

Dearest Ramji,

I noticed over these past few weeks that awareness of awareness has subtly shifted so I decided to try and describe what I am observing..

It is as if I am ‘experiencing two realities’ concurrently. There is the world, my perceptive reality, mithya, changing relentlessly – the world of duality constantly playing – and yet at the same time there is a ‘parallel universe’ that is Me, always there, equally relentlessly but quietly smiling. I am experiencing the world IN me. I understand the teaching that satya and mithya are two realities that can never meet and yet paradoxically, they are both me. The world, including my mind changes but I dont – and neither do I come and go. That quietly smiling awareness can never be affected in any way by the world. Not possible. It is love with no object, the substrate of everything – and so sweet!
