Vedanta Seminar with James Swartz in Berlin
April 30th – May 3rd 2020
James Swartz is leading a 3 days non-residential Vedanta course in Berlin-Steglitz. This course will be an extraordinary and inspiring opportunity to learn and practice the fundamental principles and methods of Vedanta – the Science of Self Inquiry – with a great teacher.

James Swartz

If you are interested in taking your spiritual questions further and would like to understand your true nature, the nature of the mind and of the world, this retreat will be of great value. Freedom and lasting happiness are the result of this knowledge. The course is not merely an academic or intellectual exercise. It is a dynamic traditional teaching that engages the participants in such a way that it produces insight into the nature of reality.

Vedanta is a means of Self inquiry, one of the oldest and most successful enlightenment tradition in the world. Information about this unique path is available on James' website www.shiningworld.com His books, “The Essence of Enlightenment” and “Yoga of the Three Energies”, among others, beautifully present the path of understanding.

James Swartz (Ramji) is one of the very few authentic Vedanta teachers in the world today. He studied in the late 1960's and early 1970's under the guidance of Swami Chinmayananda, one of India’s most respected sages. Since then James has taught Vedanta to thousands of students the world over. His ability to teach authentic Vedanta in plain modern English and to present the teaching in a lively, humorous and provocative way is exceptional.
