who is more generous than me?
generous of love
and
spirit
all
given freely into the world
writer
of poems too numerous
to mention
(also given freely)
and
of songs in an endless landslide
and
paintings in a cascade (given freely)
but
how so?
because the world gives itself
to me freely
and
i walk on gods legs
see with gods eyes
feel with gods tongue and fingers
and love with gods sex
and
know that
none
of this is of my doing
i am simply made
generous by natures generosity
and
i am always less
and
always equal
and
so giving all
i give nothing
