I was commissioned to write the teachings of Vedanta without any Sanskrit and without the Hindu cultural overlay. It is possible because Vedanta is just knowledge and knowledge precedes language but it is difficult since Sanskrit is a language that was designed to reveal the knowledge of existence shining as awareness. I’m nearly ready to publish it but before I do I would like some help from anyone who wishes to help. You needn’t be a literary critic. All points of view are useful because I want it to have the widest possible appeal. You do not need to proof read it; our book maker will. I don’t want to hear the argument that I am cheapening the tradition. For those who love India and the Sanskrit, you can think of it as a modern Purana, which is Vedanta in code, not the pure logical methodology that appears in my prakarana texts.

Yes, it is a story and stories are not always logical but they can be very instructive. The Puranas gave the Vedas mass appeal when India entered the agrarian age which made commerce and urban living possible. Having said that, The Wall presents the complete teaching. Many of you may know people with spiritual inclinations who are suspicious of religion and modern spirituality who might be attracted to Self knowledge in this form.
